Entry requirements for Sixth Form for 2024 will be at least five GCSEs Grades 9-4, including English and Maths. In addition, all our courses have subject-specific entry requirements, details of which can be found in the course information booklet.

Some courses have a traditional exam focus while others are assessment based. It is important to make the right choices for you, selecting the most appropriate courses as purely exam-based subjects are not suited to every student.

We interview all prospective sixth form students before we make an offer of a place at Sixth Form. Interviews take place in January 2024.

During the summer term we hold an induction week, designed to help ease the transition to sixth form life. This week includes sixth form taster sessions, a team building day, university visit and a social day out and helps all new Year 12s get to know each other before starting term in September.

a) You will be asked for some basic details, as well as your most likely subject choices.

b) Deadline for submission is Friday 5 January 2024.

Interviews will take place in January 2024.

Following a successful interview, you will receive a letter offering you a conditional place at Sixth Form.

On receipt of your GCSE results you will need to confirm your A Level subject choices online to complete enrolment into the Sixth Form.
